Ausangate Expedition
Into the heart of Peru’s sacred mountain
- June 15–22, 2027
- 5 days / 4 nights
- Small group
- USD 940 / person
At 6,384 m, Ausangate is the highest mountain in the Cusco region and one of the most sacred apus of the Peruvian Andes. Since Inca times, Quechua communities have honored it as a guardian of life and water.
Trekking beneath this snow-capped giant takes you through some of Peru’s most breathtaking scenery: glaciers, turquoise lagoons, colorful mountains, and high valleys where llamas and alpacas graze, in a remote and nearly untouched landscape.
We travel in a small, carefully selected group to fully experience this extraordinary high-mountain landscape.
